Review: 

The first reason why I decided to watch this drama was because the poster picture was cute and had nicely blended pastel colors. Those colors made me think "wow, this is kind of a high production drama" and "wow, this is so cute!" Therefore, I ended up watching and it was probably one of the most- if you will- inspirational dramas. Review: 
This drama mainly caught my attention because this is one of Park Shin-hye's most recent work after not being on small screens for awhile. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.) After knowing the concept as well as the actors and actresses involved, I was very much interested. As the story begun to unfold, I was intrigued by how the reoccurring theme of overcoming pasts and becoming a greater person. As seen through Hye-Jung, she overcomes her past and is able to achieve her Grandma's goal of being a doctor. Though her intentions in joining that specific hospital are vengeful, she is able to overcome these ideas in order for a greater product (saving patients.) Just as any typical Korean drama, there is always and most definitely will be ...

So What's ACTUALLY Happening ..

Okay, so I currently don't have a lot of time to post daily about news and dramas, but no dramas have really come to a full conclusion yet, but they're slowly reaching that point. So, please anticipate new drama reviews. Also, there have been a lot of new dramas that have been introduced, but when I have time to do so, I will begin watching those as well as continue keeping up with the current dramas. Thank you for understanding as well as staying active!!! 

Kpop news: 

These news are not meant to further expose the topic to others, but rather to bring those who don't know what's happening understand. 

Most recently on Korea's Liberation Day from Japan, SNSD's Tiffany (who was in Japan in the time) happened to use the Snapchat filter with the rising sun. (snapchat has ever since gotten rid of that filter due to the controversy) However, there has been a lot of heat against Tiffany and this has resulted with her leave from Sister's Slam Dunk, model for a company, and she will not be attending SMTOWN in Hawaii. This is seen as a very controversial item for Koreans due to the hatred towards the rising sun flag. However, from Tiffany's perspective, this could be somewhat similar to Seoulhyun and Jimin's controversy of not knowing Korea's history. The only difference with this case is that Tiffany is born in America and lacks Korean history knowledge. (most of the items learned in American history classes are mostly with the involvement of America in battles as well as the history of America not about Korea's history and such) However, she has been promoting in Korea for 9+ years which brings up the claim that maybe she is ignorant. This is definitely up to how you perceive this and whether she really deserves all the negative attention she is getting.

Hey guys so just a heads up for the following months, but I probably won't be able to post daily depending on my school work. I know this isn't necessarily geared towards the whole Korean drama review aspect, but while dramas are continuing, I will post about this hallyu movement. Some debuts and comebacks that have recently occurred are:

- this is equivalent to most modern American music videos (drinking and racy outfits) but Hyuna is amazing so..... 

2. Oh My Girl ft Skull & HaHa : A-ing 
- this is a really cute music video with a definite beach feel 

3. IOI : Whatta Man 

- This is producer 101's final group's subgroup , this song is super catchy + rumor has it that kim chungha choreographed this song !! 

4. UP10TION : Tonight 

- This video and song is so bright, they're so cute !!1! 

5. Girls Generation :0805 

- This is to commemorate their anniversary ! Their vocals are amazing 

6. BTOB : Vacation 

- This was an unexpected comeback song !!! But their vocals are also amazing and match their style !

7. Monsta X : Stuck 

- They're always so dynamic !! Their style is definitely different from other groups 

8. B.A.P. : That's My Jam 

- They're so vibrant and the song is good for bringing the mood up 

9. BlackPink (debut) : Boombayah & Whistle 

- They definitely are from YG Their music style is strong compared to most of the girlgroups that venture towards the more cute styles 

10. Jun. K : Young Forever & Think About You 

- He's definitely an amazing artist and it's such a relief that he finally can have a solo debut 

Back !!!!!

Hey guys, so I recently was on vacation to New York and I didn't really bring my laptop on the trip...... Also, the wifi at every hotel I went to wasn't all that great... Anyways, I'm back and better than ever !!!!! (okay not really, but bare with me) Within the past week a lot of new debuts have happened as well as teasers for new dramas. However, I have not started any new dramas (unfortunately...) So to update you guys on my current endeavors once again, here are the dramas that I am currently watching. BReAKInG NEWŚ

Zico and Seolhyun have been semi-confirmed of dating. Their agencies have release a pre-response to the rumor as well as an after Dispatch response. Most outlets are saying that they are dating, perspectively, I believe they are as well. Dispatch has released multiple shots of Seolhyun running into Zico's apartment building while also claiming that they have had multiple car dates, as most celebrities do. Their agencies have stated that they have a "close sunbae-hoobae relationship" in which many fans are doubting. Some claim that they are making mere assumptions from two different backgrounds. 

The Rio Olympic Games have been on its way and multiple events have already passed. The Olympics are currently being aired on Korean outlets in which overlaps with current drama time slots. One drama that is being questioned by netizens is W. SBS is currently deciding whether or not the Olympics should be the reason for the cancellation of the episode. For episode 7, which deliberately has been released has aired today. However, next week is up for question. Many fans are questioning why the Olympics are being run on SBS instead of a different channel. However, the opposing side is stating that these athletes have worked so long in order to reach this competition thus, it shouldn't matter if it overlaps with current programs.
