So What's ACTUALLY Happening ..

Okay, so I currently don't have a lot of time to post daily about news and dramas, but no dramas have really come to a full conclusion yet, but they're slowly reaching that point. So, please anticipate new drama reviews. Also, there have been a lot of new dramas that have been introduced, but when I have time to do so, I will begin watching those as well as continue keeping up with the current dramas. Kpop news: 

These news are not meant to further expose the topic to others, but rather to bring those who don't know what's happening understand. 

Most recently on Korea's Liberation Day from Japan, SNSD's Tiffany (who was in Japan in the time) happened to use the Snapchat filter with the rising sun. (snapchat has ever since gotten rid of that filter due to the controversy) However, there has been a lot of heat against Tiffany and this has resulted with her leave from Sister's Slam Dunk, model for a company, and she will not be attending SMTOWN in Hawaii. This is seen as a very controversial item for Koreans due to the hatred towards the rising sun flag. However, from Tiffany's perspective, this could be somewhat similar to Seoulhyun and Jimin's controversy of not knowing Korea's history. The only difference with this case is that Tiffany is born in America and lacks Korean history knowledge. (most of the items learned in American history classes are mostly with the involvement of America in battles as well as the history of America not about Korea's history and such) However, she has been promoting in Korea for 9+ years which brings up the claim that maybe she is ignorant. This is definitely up to how you perceive this and whether she really deserves all the negative attention she is getting.
